Thank you to all of you who joined me on the Let's Get Sketchy Blog Hop last week. And a special thank you to my new followers.
Because those who became new followers and linked me up on any form of social media had more than on entry into the draw for my Sn@p rak, I had to do the draw old school style.
Here are all your names in a bowl (everyone who commented was put into the draw at least once)
And here is the lucky winner as blindly selected by my youngest daughter Eden (can you see how happy she is to have been included in this little activity?!)
Congratulations you have won yourself these fabulous new Simple Stories Sn@p stickers.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! You will have 7 days to contact me to claim your prize. Please email me at sherrifunkATgmailDOTcom, with your full name and snail mail address. If I do not hear from you by Sunday November,25 I will redraw and post the new winner the following Monday.
Thank you all for playing along. Be sure to check the Let's Get Sketchy Blog to see if you were also the winner of the Grand Prize, and/or Brenshevia's Grab Bag that was also up for grabs.
Check back here tomorrow for a new sketch challenge!
Happy Sunday friends,
♥ S.

Chic Tags Blog Hop
Welcome to my very fist Chic Tags blog hop! We are celebrating the arrival of all the new Christmas goodies in the shop, as well, as the addition of several Design Team members, yours truly included. If you've arrived here from Janna's blog you are in the right place. If you'd like to do the hop in order I would suggest heading back to the Chic Tags blog and letting our sweet Team Leader Veronica welcome you.
I will keep this short and sweet, as there are a few of us on the hop, and I don't want to hold you up. I used several of the new tags to layer and embellish a page of my girls, and my hubby & me from last Christmas.

But you only have until Sunday, November 18th at 8 pm PST to leave a comment, and enter for your chance at making these babies yours. I will sweeten the deal for you here on my blog by giving away my own little assortment of Chic Tag goodness. All you need to do to get in on the extra grab bag is become a follower, and leave me a comment telling me you've done so.
Also because Veronica wants to bless as many readers as possible through this hop, she is offering all my readers 25% off everything in the store until the end of the hop. Simply use code:DEC25 at check out. This code will expire the same time as the hop Sunday, November 18th at 8 pm PST. Run, don't walk, to take advantage of this code asap.
Thanks for popping in today. Your next stop on the hop is my scrappy friend Jennie. I just know she's going to have something great in store for you!

The Real Story
Shared this layout at Let's Capture Our Memories the other day.
I used the new Amy Tangerine papers, and cuts from the Studio Calico Cut It Out Class on my new Silhouette Cameo to complete it. It captures my thoughts on the cowboy boots I purchased while in Las Vegas a few weeks ago.
Journaling Reads: "I've changed my mind about cowboy boots. They're just okay on guys, but they ROCK on girls."
Hope you're in the middle of a great week friends,

Here is my take this week
![]() |
| My nephew Jayden, one of the happiest kids I know |
I have used the fabulous October Scraptastic Kit
featuring Echo Park For The Record 2 papers. Ive added a couple of
Studio Calico hearts, and a doily from my stash. That funky banner is
something I've seen my friend, and uber talented scrappy friend Nicole do a couple of times. I had a traditional looking banner at
first but found it too rigid looking with so many square corners on the
layout. Changing the banner up a bit made the layout feel a little more playful .
Here is the sketch we worked with

Sketch #157 Reveal
As you read this I will be in Saskatoon enjoying Crop & Create with a couple of girlfriends, hoping to make even more while I'm there. Can't wait to tell you all about it. In the meantime check out the sketch Jocelyn hooked us up with this week at Let's Capture These Sketches.
I loved all the strips. This month I tried something different. I tried to stay 100% true to the sketch.
As you can see I failed miserable. The sketch is still very visible, but it's definitely not exactly the same. Oh well maybe next time.
The photos are of hubby and my youngest, Eden playing on the merry-go-round at the lake this past summer. When is the last time you were on one of those? Anyone else like me, and get nauseous just watching kids go round, and round on the thing?
If you'd like to see what the rest of the team created using the sketch, or link up your own take on the sketch, please pop over here.
Thanks for popping in today.

Welcome to the very first Let’s Get Sketchy blog hop!! We at Let's Get Sketchy are so very excited about our first blog hop!
If you have arrived here from Michelle's blog welcome to the LGS blog hop!! If you have stumbled across this by chance and want to play along then you can head back to the Let’s Get Sketchy site to start at the beginning and to start collecting your Fall challenge words. These words should be bolded on each DT member’s pages. Once you have gathered all the words they will form a quote related to Fall. Tell us that quote by emailing it to letsgetsketchy@gmail.com for an extra rak of scrap goodies!
Fall is such a beautiful time of the year, its when the leaves start changing colors and everything around us is beautiful. It is also the season of Thanksgiving, which reminds us to take a moment to reflect on all the things we are most thankful for.
So in celebration of Fall we are hosting a Fall Color Combo challenge. You are to use the colors below and create ANY project related to Fall. It can be a layout, card, mixed media project or altered item. The sky is the limit! Once your project is completed, please return to LGS an upload your project using Mr. Linky.
Please use the color combo below:

You MUST use all of the colors in the picture (light blue, autumn red, yellow, brown, green)
Here is my little piece of Fall Inspiration to share with you using all the colours above. Simple Stories Harvest Lane with the perfect collection to work with for this colour challenge, no birds or butterflies, but still super cute. Not only did the colours match perfectly, but the simple design I chose took me a mere 15 minutes to create from start to finish.

2. You MUST also be a follower of the LGS blog.
Please make sure you visit the entire team today as some members are hosting additional blog challenges during the hop and offering their own extra goodies for you so the more you play the more chances for you to win!
The winner of the hop will be randomly selected and will win the beautiful Prima collection below.
