For many November 11th means little more than a day off of school and work. For some it's the day they officially begin their Christmas decorating/shopping. But for many, it is a day to stop. To consider. To remember all that was sacrificed by so, so many. To give thanks, and be grateful for all those who went ahead. Those who gave it all, and forged the way for us, you, and me in North America to have the freedom that we have today. Some lost their lives on the field. Some lost their lives along the way, and returned home little more than empty shells of who they once were, reliving the battle in their heads, and hearts daily.
For all the brave men, and women who gave everything they had for the future of this great country,
I say Thank You!
It hardly seems enough.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I will never forget.
I will teach my children to do the same.
We, will never forget.Pin It
Very nice post! I did a Remembrance Day post too!
Great picture frames and tribute. Very important to remember and show our gratitude to those who serve and their families who support them. Thanks Sherri for a beutiful post.
