My Mind's Eye

My Mind's Eye has a new blog challenge posted on their blog.  blog challenge #26 uses this sketch
Here's my take on it...
MME Fine and Dandy pappers and brad, Jenny Bowlin butterfly, Jillibean Soup sprouts (sprayed with Lemonade  Mr Huey's, Lillybee alpas, Dollarama bling, and DMC embroidery floss)
I should have taken a close up of the title, because that baby is hand stitched.  I love the way it turned out.  I free hand wrote the word in pencil, pierced it, erased the pencil line, then stitched right along the pattern.  It's still not a neat and perfect as the uber talented Sasha Farina but I'm getting there.

There area a lot of gorgeous entries in this MME Challenge so I'm pretty sure I don't have a chance, but nothing like a little healthy competition right?!  Wish me luck.

Thanks for stopping by,

LOVE this Sherri! Seriously. It's fantastic! I can totally tell that the title is stitched and it looks amazing!

On a side note, I just want to say how much I appreciate the kind-hearted comments you leave both on my blog and at the Nook. Though I've obviously not met you IRL, you seem like a genuine, down-to earth sweetheart, and I really enjoy "seeing" you on the MB.

This is gorgeous, Sherri. I have seen your work blossom so much over the last while. Good luck to you!

I, like Deanna, want to thank you for your sweet, encouraging words that you always leave on my blog. You are so kind and I just know we'd be great friends if we met "in real life." Yes, indeed, Sarah's experience with rain the other day will build her faith. I made sure to talk to her and point out that He does hear and answer our prayers- sometimes immediately and other times we have to wait. Have a wonderful day, Sherri!
