Circle Obsessed

This month's The Story I Heard Kit by Scraptastic Club has been so easy to play with.  If you know me, you know how much I love, love, love embellishments.  The May kit has no shortage of them.  The kit is packed with Pink Paislee Switchboard goodness, and I mean PACKED.  See for yourself.

I started by wanting to use as many of the patterned papers as possible so I came up with a quick circle background (I also needed something quick since I was bringing my kit along to a family gathering to work on while everyone else napped after lunch, haha)

Love this photo of Eden and me just before she took the stage for her first ever Dance Solo (Tap).  She looked so darn cute, and did super well.  She even gave me the idea for the hashtag before the Proud Mama, of course I had to add it.

My predictable journaling on the tag once again.  I seem to have a thing about creating designs that don't easily allow for exposed journaling.

My second layout I used to showcase both the Scraptastic Kit and Shelley's fabulous flair buttons from A Flair For Buttons.  Again with the circle theme.

I created this cut file by tweaking one I purchased in the Silhouette store.

I used several of the Pink Paislee ephemera pieces to fill in the spaces in the cut file, along with a few buttons from my stash, and some enamel dots.

The title was created using my Cameo again.  To pop it off the layout easier I first adhered it to one of the clear shipping tags from the ephemera pack, then added 3D foam dots to the back of that.
